Website Design FAQs

A custom website is a big investment, so you’re bound to have questions.

Custom web design projects vary in length, but many are completed within 8-12 weeks. Every project is a little bit different, so it depends on how complex your requirements are. When we begin, we create a detailed timeline and share it with you.

Website costs vary because every project is different. The final price depends on things like the size of the site, the features you need, and how much content is involved.

A simple marketing website with a few pages costs less than a larger site with custom layouts, integrations, or e-commerce. Projects that need accessibility work, SEO setup, or content support also take more time.

Before we give you a price, we’ll talk through your goals, your timeline, and what you actually need. From there, you’ll get a clear scope and a fixed project cost.

If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay. We’ll help you figure out what makes sense for your business and your budget.

We can structure your payments over the timeframe of the project. Get in touch for a no-obligation proposal and more information on payment plans we offer.

We work with reliable hosting companies with great support. While we don’t offer hosting ourselves, we facilitate the setup and help manage the relationship. Hosting is billed directly by the hosting company. We commonly use SiteGround or WP Engine.

Every website we build is SEO-ready. This means the site is set up with clean structure, proper headings, fast load times, mobile support, and the technical foundations search engines expect.

SEO projects are a separate service or we can provide a quote before we begin your website.

Accessibility means building websites that are inclusive and usable for everyone. This includes people with visual, hearing, mobility, or cognitive challenges.

It’s important because it creates a better experience for all users and ensures no one is excluded from accessing your content or services. Accessibility also means designing with things like clear contrast between text and backgrounds, readable font sizes, logical page structure, keyboard navigation, and support for screen readers. When these basics are done well, websites are easier to use, easier to understand, and more effective for everyone.

We don’t write content in-house, but we work closely with trusted content partners. We can coordinate closely with them so the content aligns with the website’s structure, tone, and the goals of your project.

We do. We will support your website for 30 days post-project (not including design or new content). After that, we can support you at our hourly rate of $120/hr or we can work on a retainer.
